มาดูกันว่าเราได้รับแรงบันดาลใจอะไรในการใช้ รอยแตกลาย สำหรับการสร้างสรรค์งานชิ้นนี้

ปัญหา รอยแตกลาย เป็นปัญหาที่ผู้ใหญ่โดยส่วนมาก ราวๆ 80% มีมันอยู่บนร่างกาย ซึ่งเราก็มีเหมือนกัน และพบว่ามันได้สร้างความไม่มั่นใจให้กับเราในการใช้ชีวิตมากๆ จนกระทั่งเราได้ไปเจอ แฮชแท็ก #tigerstripes พอเรากดเข้าไป เราเห็นบางคนใช้แฮชแท็กนี้ เพื่อต้องการที่จะบอกถึงผู้ญิงหลายๆคน ว่าไม่แปลกอะไรที่เราจะมีรอยแตกลายนะ และจากแฮชแท็กนี้ บวกกับปีนี้เป็นปีเสือด้วย เราเลยอยากสร้างงานที่ทำให้คนมั่นใจในรูปร่างมากขึ้น ว่าเราทีมเดียวกันนะ เราก็มี เธอก็มี เราไม่ต่างกันเลย
Stretch mark is a skin problem that occurs in approximately 80 % of adults and I also have it !. I found that it makes me feel insecure with my body. Then I found the hashtag which alters my perception is #tigerstripes.
After exploring this hashtag, some women utilized it to raise awareness among other young women, encouraging them to be proud of the marks.
Don’t worry !! I have it, we are a tiger team. 🐯

ก่อนที่เราจะวาดภาพ เราก็ได้ทำการหาเรฟ ( Reference ) สำหรับ ทรงผม ท่าทาง ส่วนประกอบอื่นๆ เพื่อนำมาดู และเป็นแนวทางในการวาด ออกตัวก่อนว่าเราไม่ใช่คนวาดภาพเก่งมาก ถึงขนาดที่จะวาดท่าทางบางท่าออกมาจากความทรงจำได้ เราเลยหาเรฟจำนวนมาก เพื่อดูเป็นแนวทางที่อยากได้ โดยเรากำหนดคอนเสปต์ไว้ใจในใจ เราอยากนำเสนอในคอนเส็ปต์ของ ‘เด็กผู้หญิงที่มั่นใจ’ ผ่านไอเดียคร่าวๆ ดังนี้
- ปีเสือ หรือ เกี่ยวกับปีเสือ
- รอยแตกลาย
- เทศกาลตรุษจีน
พอหลังจากกำหนดคอนเส็ปต์คร่าวๆได้ เราเลยเริ่มหารูปภาพ ต่างๆ เพื่อนำมาใช้งาน โดยภาพกราฟฟิคของเสือ ที่ศิลปินอิสระชาวเยอรมัน Lisa Freudenthaler ได้วาดไว้ เรานำมาดูเพื่อเป็นแนวทางคู่สี เราอยากได้คู่สีที่สดใส ไม่ได้ดูเป็นตรุษจีนจนเกินไป
As I mentioned in the first paragraph, I came across the hashtag #tigerstripes it inspired me to create the tiger year card. I determined with ‘confident young girl’ concept. I plan to release the card around Chinese Lunar New year. So I research the card style, colors and elements. I have 3 rough ideas for example
- Tiger year or something relate to tiger
- Stretch marks
- Chinese Lunar New year
For the color and style, I found out German freelance illustrator Lisa Freudenthaler ( tiger with chili illustration ) Cause I would like my card adorned with pastel colors but still be in the Chinese Lunar New year.
Ref.01 The swing
ตอนที่สเก็ต เราจำได้ว่า เราอยากได้อารมณ์ตัวคาแรคเตอร์ของเรานั่งชิงช้า แล้วไกวออกมานอกประตู ประตูเป็นเหมือนตัวเชื่อมระหว่างปีเก่ากับปีใหม่ น้องออกมาจากประตูเก่า และก็มีประตูบานใหม่ให้น้องเลือก เลือกว่าจะไปที่ไหน ส่วนท่านั่งไกวชิงช้า ช่วงก่อนหน้านี้เราได้เห็นภาพ The Swing ผ่านตามาพอดี เราเลยนำมาเป็นเรฟเฟอเรนท่านั่ง
I want my Character to jump from something. After I researched, I found ‘The Swing’ painting and I like the lady position. I want my Character ‘Nana’ ride on the swing and ready to jump from the old door to the new door. The door imply to anything which you can imagine such as new year, future, and opportunity.
Ref.02 Wavy pigtails hairstyle
คาแรคเตอร์นี้คือน้องนาน่า #nanachirpygurl โดยมีการปรับลายเส้นนิดหน่อย เพื่อให้เหมาะกับคอนเส็ปต์นี้ เราอยากให้น้องมีผมมัดแกละแบบลอนๆ อยากได้ลุกแก่นๆ แบบสาวน้อยผมแกละ แต่ก็มีทำผมลอนๆ ให้ดูหวานขึ้นหน่อย
This is my Character ‘Nana’ #nanachirpygurl . I vectorized Nana from the Sketch so this is the evolved version of Nana which differs from you have seen in the hashtag. I want her to look cool, naughty but sweet. That’s why I drew her with wavy pigtails hairstyle.
Ref.03 ดอกเหมย หรือ เหมยฮวา ( Plum blossom)
ดอกเหมย หรือเหมยฮวา ที่มีความหมายว่า สงบเงี่ยม ไม่อวดตน เพราะดอกเหมยเป็นดอกไม้ชนิดเดียวที่สามารถบานได้ในฤดูหนาว ยามหิมะตก ซึ่งดอกไม้อื่นๆ จะบานในฤดูร้อน หลังจากเราอ่านความหมายของดอกเหมย เราชอบมากๆ รู้สึกว่าเป็นดอกไม้ที่สื่อถึงความอดทน และ เข้มแข็งในเวลาเดียวกัน เราเลยนำเอามาใส่ในผลงานด้วย
Meihua or Plum blossom is the only flower which blooms in winter snow but the rest bloom in summer. The flower means strong, patient and humble. I like the meaning so I added flowers into my illustration.
Ref.04 ดอกโบตั๋น ( Peony )
ดอกโบตั๋นนั้นมีหลายความหมาย โดยในเอเชีย หมายถึงความมั่งคั่ง ดอกโบตั๋นถูกนำมาใช้ในงานศิลปะจีนอยู่บ่อยครั้ง อย่างอย่างงานเกี่ยวเนื่องกับความเชื่อ ศาสนา อย่างเช่น ตรุษจีน เราเลยหยิบดอกไม้นี้มาใส่ในงานด้วย เพราะอยากให้งานมีกลิ่นอายตรุษจีนแบบไม่โฉ่งฉ่างจนเกินไป
There are so many meaning of Peony but for the Asian means wealthiness. Peony has been appeared in traditional Chinese art and religious believing such as Chinese Lunar New year. I add peony into my art work because I want it to imply the Chinese new year a bit.

เราเคยเห็นภาพนี้ผ่านๆตา ในอินเตอร์เน็ทแล้ว แล้วมันค่อนข้างอิมแพคกับเรามาก รวมไปถึงแฮชแท็กที่ใช้ เราอยากสร้างงานที่สร้างความมั่นใจให้กับคนที่มีรอยแตกลาย ให้กลับมามีความมั่นใจมากขึ้น ตอนเราเห็นภาพนี้ เราก็รู้สึกมั่นใจขึ้น เราเลยอยากให้ความรู้นั้น สื่อถึงทุกคน เพราะรอยแตกลาย ก็เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการเติบโต #loveyourlines
I came across the article from the internet and I love the concept of creating rainbow stretch mark from Spanish Artist ‘Cinta Tort Cartró’. She inspired women to admire the stretch mark with caption and her painting. Her works impact me to draw and inspired other young female to appreciate their stripes. Stretch mark means body growing. It’s the proof of your experiences.
